Step 13: Seats and belts
Installing the seats really depends on what type of seat you are using, if it uses separate mounts, and if you are using a slider. The Kirkey Aluminum seats can be mounted with 4 bolts directly to the floor or slider. Somtimes side mounts can be used to make the slider instal easier but will also hinder the use of a wide seat.
5 or 6 point harness'
The lap belts will mount to the welded in triangle on each side of the seat on the back corner of compartment. The shoulder harness will bolt into the steel plate under the roll bar. The 5th or 6th point will bolt in under the seat using big fender washers. Follow the instructions on your harness for operation.
3 point retractable harness
The retracter needs to be mount down low in the bottom corner behind the seat facing straight up. The pivot point can mount onto the roll bar. One way is to drill and tap a hole into the roll bar (this bolt is typically 7/16"). Then bolt the reciever into the welded triangle on the tunnel.
