Step 11: ECU and harness

Your ECU and harness will come from Stalker Cars. Simply connect all the connectors up, then locate where you would like to mount the ECU. Other then the connectors on the engine there will be some loose wires. One will attach to postitive side of battery (either directly on the post or on the starter post).
On the V6, there are a few loose wires.
Ign on, route this to the on side of your ignition switch.
Speed, this wire connects to your speedometer.
Tach or RPM, this wire connects to your Tachometer
Pump or Fuel, run a 14 gauge wire or thicker to positive side of fuel pump from this.

On the V8 you have a few extra
Fan, this is a heavier gauge wire to run directly to postive side of fan for the ECU to control
Reverse, this goes to positive side of reverse lights
Start, this wire attaches to the start post on your ignition switch or button.
