oil smoke under hard acceleration out of LH corners.
Does anyone else get a big puff of gray/blue smoke after accelerating hard out of a high G LH turn? I think the key is hard acceleration; one corner is a fairly sharp, quick turn, the other is the carousel at Sonoma that goes on for 6-8 seconds. I've been told oil is possibly making it's way up the breather tube and getting burned under those LH turn conditions. No smoke anywhere else on track including high G RH turns. I have a custom 6 qt oil pan. See attached.
If you have had this problem, what was your experience? Did changing the PCV valve make any difference?
