Step 7: Fuel System

The Miata engine uses a pressure and return line system. You will need to run 2 fuel lines from engine. One fuel line will come out of the tank-through filter-through pump- to the pressure side of the fuel rail. The other line comes off the regulator on the fuel rail and to the return port on the tank. The fuel tank will also have a vent fitting. You can located this because there will be a roll over ball install underneath it. This fitting needs a hose, coiled up, then mounted high up for the fuel tank to vent air in and out.
