1. Are there any wildwood or outlaw (locost) calipers that will bolt onto the Stalker rear disk brake mounts? I assume someone has already traveled this path. I currently have the GM calipers with some great green stuff pads, but want to mount another lighter set on the front of the rear disks for my drift brake. Running the drift brake inline has caused some seal issues with the drift brake master cylinder. I noticed some seepage after heavy braking from a few 130-160mph runs. Best bet is to run the drift on it's own circuit. Still stops straight and like a champ, but the CNC line lock cylinder I'm using as a drift brake a bit overwhelmed by steady max braking efforts over a few seconds. --I cannot get over 162mph! My 3 year goal for this car is to hit 200. But that will take some major aero and another 200bph.

2. Does anyone know the Wilwood part number for the 6-piston front brake caliper that fits the current wildwood front brake setup? Since upgrading wheel and tire setup am finding brake fade and overheating/boiling an issue, even on street. Maybe better brake fluid? The hawk pads are stellar, but after 40 minutes of abuse/private lot, they get slippy and the disk gets glossy. They are fine for street and autoX but might not be enough for a track day session. Plus, 6-pots look rad.

3. Rear brake mounts. I would like to run a set of thicker mounts with welded spacers than the current 1/8" and 5 washer setup. Does anyone know of an off the shelf mount? If not, If I have a set of 10 water jet cut, would anyone be interested? Even with 10 they'd be like $40 each. Vs. $100 each for 2.

Best.

1. Not sure how to help you there, maybe some others have insite. Maybe i could draw up a bracket to mount a dynalight to the axle flange, seems that wilwood isn't offering any rear disc setups anymore.
2 It is the Dynapro6A, choose the correct rotor width
3. I can send you a drawing if you would like of the current adapter we made.

Thanks.   If you have a drawing of the rear bracket putting the Dynapro onto the rear that would be great.  What's a little scary are the rear brake brackets thickness, when compared to my 10 year old's BMX bike brakes which are 2 times as thick.  Maybe thicker with less washers/less offset, would be wiser?

Damn, this place have C-5 Corvette to S-10 adapters for $75.  Add 12" rotors and Willwood 4 piston c-5 calipers.. http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i223.html

Given the cost ($1020 front and $950 rear)  and that all of the 6-piston brake pad compounds seem too high for the little stalker, I'm going to put this mod on hold for a while and just live with the space between the rim and rotor with my new giant 17" wheels.

Front Calipers:
Left Hand - Part No: 120-13429-RD
Right Hand - Part No: 120-13428-RD
Rotors:
Left Hand - Part No: 160-7104-BK
Right Hand - Part No: 160-7103-BK
Pads:
Hawk DTC30 HB645W.490

Our new cars can use either a 10" rotor for using 13" race wheels or a 13" rotor for the 17" wheels. The spindles have two sets of adapters for the corresponding rotor. Both front and rear can use the Dynapro 6 piston or the dynalight 4 piston.
I beleive Dennis designed the rear bracket like that because of all the different offset rear axles that came from the S10. In all the years though, there has never been any kind of rear brake bracket failure, although no one has set one up as a drifter requiring a lot of rear brake effort. I can probably have some cut from 1/4" if you want them. I do not have a drawing for using the wilwood setup on the rear just our current braket.
If enough people are interested, I can probably borrow a local Stalker Classic (we don't have any old axles here) to design a wilwood dynalight adapter.

Scott, you are the Stalker guru? Cool.

The new spindles and suspension adjustment sound amazing--maybe someday! Maybe a narrow/no scoop bodied AXR with the front stretched 10" and no roll bars.

The thickness makes sense given the variety of axles out there.

I am going to hold off right now as I might be removing the drift brake. The front suspension is not suited to that much lock without the steering rods or fender brackets hitting and upsetting the balance. It looks like your new spindle setup can provide a lot more steering lock.

Right now trying to get a windshield together (safety) and reducing lift and drag with a new rear diffuser, and oil pan protector.
